To say that it’s been a tough season for the Golden State Warriors would be a massive understatement.
Steve Kerr’s team has been on the wrong end of some tough calls and great shots way too often, which is a position they weren’t used to being in.
That was on full display again vs. the Denver Nuggets.
Despite not having Draymond Green on the court, the Warriors managed to rally and make it a close game late in the fourth quarter.
Just when it seemed like they were heading to overtime, Nikola Jokic knocked down an off-balance three-pointer from near halfcourt to put an end to their hopes.
Following the game, Stephen Curry was visually frustrated and talked about how the same thing has happened to them over and over this season, as they seem to play a great game but end up empty-handed anyway (via 95.7 The Game).
“Too many situations like tonight where you play a hell of a game and have nothing to show for it,” Curry said.

Curry has been quite critical of the Warriors this season, which is also a position he has never been in before.
Curry is sick and tired of the excuses and the tough luck; he just wants to get the job done.
We’re almost at the midpoint of the season and the Warriors are two games below .500.
And it’s not like they can’t lose to the reigning NBA champions in a close home game; it’s just that they can’t seem to catch a break right now.
Everything that could’ve gone wrong has gone wrong for the 2023-24 Warriors, but they’ll just have to keep fighting through this.
