For decades, fans have credited Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen for the Chicago Bulls‘ unmatched success in the 1990s.

However, after Jordan released “The Last Dance” documentary, Pippen has gone way out of his way to try and discredit Jordan, from calling him a horrible person to taking multiple personal shots at him — all of which have gone unanswered.

Fans called out Pippen for trying to sell his book by dissing Jordan, and the six-time NBA champion has gone radio silent since his book tour finished.

That’s why Stephen A. Smith sides with No. 23 in this feud, stating that all Jordan did was portray how Pippen made a terrible business decision and then refused to be on the floor, bailing on his teammates when they needed him the most, even though he wanted to be the alpha dog with Jordan in retirement.

In his appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s “Club Shay Shay” podcast, the ESPN pundit also hinted at Jordan’s son dating Scottie’s ex-wife Larsa as the reason behind Scottie’s newfound hate for Michael.

As valid as that reason might or might not be, it’s not like Michael told his son to date and then get engaged with Larsa.

It’s sad to see one of the most legendary duos in sports history feuding.

But it’s even crazier to see Pippen taking so many uncalled-for shots at a guy who had always nothing but words of praise and respect for him, at least publicly.
