Stephen A. Smith Has Hilarious Reaction To Knicks’ Win Over Cavs

After four games in the first-round playoff series between the New York Knicks and Cleveland Cavaliers, Jalen Brunson and company are sporting a commanding 3-1 lead and are on the verge of advancing to the second round.

The Cavaliers came into this playoff series against the Knicks, being the favorite to advance after having an incredible regular season with star guard Donovan Mitchell becoming the new face of the franchise.

Unfortunately for Cleveland, Mitchell and his new squad haven’t lived up to expectations, as they’ve been outplayed by a Knicks team that was expected to struggle against this talented young team on the rise.

Following an impressive win in Game 4 on Sunday, diehard Knicks fan and ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith couldn’t help be express how he felt about seeing his team being one win away from advancing to the second round of the playoffs.

With the Knicks in control of this series, it will return to Cleveland for a potential series-clinching Game 5 for New York.

There’s no question the Cavaliers will come out stronger in Game 5 on their home floor as the team faces elimination, but the real question is whether the Knicks can keep up this momentum away from Madison Square Garden.

If the Knicks do end up winning Game 5 in Cleveland, Tom Thibodeau’s squad will advance to the second round of the playoffs to face either the Miami Heat or Milwaukee Bucks.

Miami recently took control of its first-round playoff series with Milwaukee, with superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpo having only played 11 minutes due to an injury sustained in Game 1.

It’s not beyond the realm of possibility that the Knicks could face their old playoff rivals in the second round if Antetokounmpo can’t return and make an impact in this series.
