The New York Knicks kicked off the postseason on Saturday with a big win over the Philadelphia 76ers.
That means the team is just three victories away from moving on to the Eastern Conference semifinals.
Stephen A. Smith is certain that’s going to happen and he showed his unabashed, unwavering support for the Knicks on Monday morning, hyping up his team on “First Take.”
Smith showed enthusiastic, deep-seated, unshakeable love for his team and made it clear that he envisions them going all the way to the Eastern Conference Finals.

Smith is a diehard Knicks fan so it’s not surprising to see him share such love for the team.
But beyond his fandom, Smith might have a point.
If they are able to defeat the 76ers in this opening round, they will then face the winner of the Milwaukee Bucks/Indiana Pacers series.
If they can win there as well, it’ll be onto the Eastern Conference Finals.
Right now, conventional wisdom says that the Boston Celtics are going to be in the Eastern Conference Finals again.
That would be incredibly tough competition but many Knicks fans think New York could be the team to take them down.
The Knicks surged to the end of the regular season and claimed the second seed, showing just how dominant they have become.
Now they are one of the most exciting teams in the playoffs and have gotten things off to a good start.
If the Knicks go far in the playoffs for the first time in years, Smith won’t be the only one elated and fired up.
Knicks fans have been waiting for this moment for years.
