The Minnesota Timberwolves have a serious issue surrounding their franchise heading into the playoffs.
In their last regular-season game on Sunday, Kyle Anderson and Rudy Gobert got into a fight on the bench.
Gobert was seen throwing a punch at Anderson and was sent home mid-game because of it.
Now the Timberwolves are set to play in the play-in tournament without Gobert.
The All-Star center was suspended for their play-in game against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Stephen A. Smith had some strong words regarding Gobert’s altercation.

For a Wolves team that finished eighth in the Western Conference, they are self-destructing.
Even so, they will have two opportunities to try and win one game to get into the postseason.
But the Wolves will have to win behind Anthony Edwards and Karl-Anthony Towns.
They are their two best players, and hopefully, they can cover up the issue in the locker room.
Usually, fights like this are tough to get over with strong leadership from others on the team.
But Gobert sent a tweet apologizing for his actions, which might help soothe things.
At the end of the day, the Timberwolves must play their play-in game on Tuesday night without Gobert.
If they can get into the playoffs, it will be interesting to see if they welcome him back to the locker room or not.
