The Dallas Cowboys enter the upcoming season as one of the teams to beat in the NFC, at least on paper.
The Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers are still a tier ahead of them, but the gap shouldn’t be all that wide.
That’s why ESPN pundit Stephen A. Smith believes Dak Prescott is currently the quarterback under the most pressure to win the Super Bowl this season.
In Monday’s edition of “First Take,” Stephen A. talked about Prescott having just two postseason wins in seven years as a starter and talked about the importance of being the starting quarterback for a franchise like the Cowboys.

He talked about the Cowboys’ value as a franchise and popularity, adding that it’s simply not acceptable that he has struggled so much and done so little in seven years as a starter.
Moreover, Stephen A. took a look at his QB colleagues in the NFC, and it’s more than evident that most of the talent and top-tier players at the position play in the other conference.
Truth be told, Prescott’s poor play has been a talking point way too often already, and although a lot of that obviously has to do with the fact that the Cowboys are one of the most popular franchises on Earth, there’s got to be a point where enough is enough.
That’s why Prescott will have a huge target on his back and be urged to step up this season, and it wouldn’t be shocking to see a lot of talk about a potential QB change next offseason if he fails to live up to the expectations again.
