The Golden State Warriors need to brace themselves for what’s coming.

With Draymond Green getting ejected again with a flagrant two foul, it’s very likely that he’s suspended for the second time this season.

According to ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith, the league met on Wednesday morning to discuss potential discipline, stating that NBA Commissioner Adam Silver would be directly involved in the decision.

Smith said that even though some of the criticism and punishment Green has gotten over the course of the years has been unfair, and even though he did apologize to Jusuf Nurkic, there’s just no way to defend him this time (via ClutchPoints).

“Draymond Green is going to get suspended for about 10 games minimum… [The NBA is] going to bring the hammer down… The worst thing that could have possibly happened, believe it or not… was that sound from [Jusuf] Nurkic.”

Green claimed that he was just trying to sell a foul and didn’t mean to hurt Nurkic, and while chances are he’s telling the truth, his reputation precedes him and there’s just no way that the league is going to let this one fly.

Smith believes that the NBA is going to lay the hammer down and make an example out of Green by suspending him for a minimum of 10 games.

He’s been tangled up in so many incidents that this has become tiring, and there’s just not much to say about him and the repercussions his actions will have on his team.

The Warriors are 10-13 and have struggled to be at their best this season.

Intentional or not, Green needs to be held accountable for his erratic behavior, and he won’t change his ways until his team and his teammates finally call him out and tell him to stop.
