A lot of attention is being paid to the Los Angeles Lakers as they hunt for a new head coach to replace Darvin Ham.
At the same time, many people are wondering what went wrong during Ham’s time in Los Angeles and what led to his firing.
Of course, the conversation is also about LeBron James and how he impacted Ham’s departure from the team.
Speaking on “First Take,” Stephen A. Smith said that James losing yet another coach is not a good look and it puts his greatness into question.
.@stephenasmith believes having 10 different head coaches takes away from LeBron James’ case for the NBA GOAT.

The new head coach coming to the Lakers will be the fourth since James joined the team in 2018-19.
Overall, he has had ten head coaches during his career, which is definitely a lot despite the fact that he has moved around to multiple teams during his more than twenty years in the league.
Smith claims that if James is truly one of the greatest of all time, he should be able to work through the differences he has with these coaches and still achieve victory for his teams.
Great players don’t only play well; they lead and collaborate well too.
James hasn’t seen eye-to-eye with numerous people who have led him and that has resulted in a lengthy list of fired coaches.
Smith said that if James and Anthony Davis wanted Ham to remain in Los Angeles, he’d still be there.
His firing is proof that he had lost the faith of James, Davis, and the rest of the roster.
Will James work better with the upcoming Lakers coach and will their relationship prove his greatness to Smith and others?
