Thursday night’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves did not go the way that the Denver Nuggets wanted.

They were absolutely blown out by Minnesota and lost by a shocking 45 points.

But when the game was wrapping up, Nikola Jokic looked like a man who was ready to get even and seek revenge in Game 7.

Speaking on “First Take,” Stephen A. Smith said that Jokic had a “look” in his eyes that could spell trouble for the Timberwolves in the last game of the series.

According to Smith, Jokic was “looking at Minnesota like, ‘I’ma get y’all.’”

Jokic was trying his hardest but, like the rest of his team, he just couldn’t get past the Timberwolves.

He scored 22 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 assists during the game.

The Nuggets wanted a lot more from everyone on the roster, including Jokic, but Minnesota’s defense was incredibly strong during the game and they didn’t let up.

The good news for the Timberwolves is that they definitively shut down the Nuggets, but the bad news is that they made the reigning champions look bad and they likely aren’t going to perform that poorly again.

In all likelihood, the Nuggets will come out swinging in Game 7 and we could see a sensational performance from Jokic.

He certainly appeared like someone who was fired up and ready to play hard in the final game and that could make life very hard for Minnesota.

Jokic shocked many with his 40-point performance in Game 5 and fans are hoping he can do it again in Game 7.

Of course, the Nuggets will need more than just Jokic to win this series.

He is definitely ready to perform hard but will the rest of his team do the same?
