Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks woke up to some bad reviews on Thursday morning.
His Game 3 performance is receiving a ton of criticism, mostly because he fouled out toward the end of the night and left his team high and dry without him.
On “First Take,” Stephen A. Smith said that Doncic deserves “most of the blame” for Dallas’ Game 3 loss and said his ejection was “because of the level of selfishness and the lack of accountability.”
“He’s pointing the finger at everybody but himself,” Smith added.

Throughout the night, Doncic had strong, negative reactions to the fouls that he got, often arguing with the referees or acting out when he would get the whistle.
This only made matters worse for the Mavericks.
Instead of being able to move on and even the score, Doncic was making bad choices, lashing out at Celtics players, and getting upset when he was called out by the refs.
Smith said that Kyrie Irving now looks like the reasonable one for the Mavericks and Doncic isn’t performing like the team leader he is supposed to be.
The Finals should be a time when players step up and perform at their best, showing off their skills and proving why they should be competing for a championship.
On Wednesday night, Doncic looked childish and selfish to many people, including Smith.
Fouling out is never a good thing but it’s even worse when your team is trying to avoid a 0-3 deficit in the Finals.
There were other reasons why the Mavericks lost on Wednesday night but Doncic’s performance is gaining the most attention, and almost all of it is negative.
