The Golden State Warriors need to keep a close eye on Draymond Green and whatever he intends to do.
They cannot afford to lose a guy as important as him, especially because they won’t have the means to replace him right now.
That’s why Stephen A. Smith went as far as to declare that the Warriors dynasty would be over if they failed to keep Draymond around.

He explained that Green isn’t only an elite and versatile defensive force and a vocal leader for that team.
He’s also the guy that knows Stephen Curry the most on a basketball court, being able to throw no-look passes at him because he always knows where he is at all times, allowing him to catch the ball in a rhythm to just pull up and shoot.
Green’s playmaking and facilitating skills take plenty of pressure off Steph’s shoulders, and Smith believes he’s there to protect Steph as well.
Notably, his assessment couldn’t be more accurate, as Green’s outstanding basketball IQ has been one of the reasons behind the team’s success on offense.
He has eyes on the back of his head and is elite at picking up tendencies from rival players, being able to decipher their defensive schemes and serving as an extension of the coach on the court.
Even at power forward, Green has been the Warriors’ floor general more often than not, not to mention their defensive anchor.
It might not reflect on his individual numbers, but as vital as Curry is to this team, so is Draymond Green.
