In recent years, NBA players have stepped up their fashion game and made stadium entrances trendier than ever, as nobody wants to get clowned by Charles Barkley on Inside The NBA like Russell Westbrook did during the prime of his fashion career.

ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith has joined in on the fun lately and his stadium entrances have given ESPN yet another reason to put a camera on him as he continues in his quest to successfully run the entire network.

In an entrance that would make WWE proud, Smith’s entrance into Game 4 of the NBA Finals last night was his latest viral moment and his suit was befitting of the occasion.

ESPN’s top guy is certainly dressing the part these days, as this was far from his only iconic entrance of late, and fans have a lot to say about it.

bro thinks he’s the main character

Brother walking in like he’s guarding Luka tonight.

Is he playing?

Fans have enjoyed poking fun at Smith playing up his entrances as if he was the one playing, but as long as ESPN keeps pushing Smith as their main attraction, the WWE-style entrances will continue.

There’s actually plenty of room for Smith to lean into this and play it up, as he could generate a lot more buzz by adding in some police escorts a la Bill Goldberg, or maybe even taking a page out of Vince McMahon’s playbook and making sure ESPN films him pulling up in a limousine every night.

We can’t wait to see what kind of suit Smith breaks out for Game 5 back in Boston.
