Stephen Curry joined Team USA for his first Olympics and made a huge impact on his way to claiming a gold medal.
Not only was he crucial during multiple moments for the team, but he also earned a spot in basketball history.
According to the Golden State Warriors on X, Curry is now the fifth player in NBA history to win at least four titles, two MVPs, and an Olympic gold medal.
Curry follows Bill Russell, Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, and his close friend LeBron James.

It’s somewhat shocking to remember that Curry had never been in the Olympics before 2024, especially after how well he did this year.
He had been in the FIBA World Cup with Team USA but this was his first time at the Olympics and he was extremely important.
He showed his skills repeatedly, particularly during the final gold medal game against France.
In that match, Curry was sensational from beyond the three-point line and reminded people all over the world why he’s regarded as the best shooter to ever enter the league.
Curry has done outstanding things throughout his lengthy career, including his four championships and MVP trophies.
This triumph at the Olympics is just the latest accomplishment that he can celebrate.
Curry probably won’t be in the Olympics again and will likely be retired by the time 2028 rolls around.
But his one showing in the games was more than worth the wait.
Now he gets to return home as a world champion and see if he can lead his Warriors to more greatness in the new season.
