It’s hard to think that there’s no more room in the National Football League for Stephon Gilmore.
He was considered to be one of the best — if not the best — cornerbacks in the league not so long ago.
Now, with the start of the regular season just some weeks away, he’s still unsigned.
That’s why the Minnesota Vikings will look to make the most of it to lure him to the Twin Cities.
According to a report by NFL insider Josina Anderson, he’s going to meet with the Vikings on Monday.

Last month, Kevin O’Connell’s team lost Mekhi Blackmon for the season due to a torn ACL.
They swapped CBs with the Dallas Cowboys on Friday by landing Nashon Wright in return for Andrew Booth.
The veteran cornerback started every game for the Cowboys last season, logging 68 tackles, two picks, and one forced fumble.
He’s familiar with the Vikings’ defensive scheme as well, as he played for defensive coordinator Brian Flores when they were both in the New England Patriots.
Whether the Vikings will end up signing him remains to be seen, as he’s not getting any younger.
Then again, he proved that he definitely has plenty left in the tank, and it would be a shame to watch him walk away from the game without another chance to showcase his skills.
