The Golden State Warriors haven’t quite been the team this year that fans have grown to expect.
Their record is just over .500, which is the 10th-best in the Western Conference.
Despite their woes and not having as dominant of performances as the rest of the league, the Warriors seem confident they have the pieces in place to make a meaningful impact down the stretch.
After missing him for a few weeks due to a suspension, Draymond Green is officially back on the roster.
Green isn’t necessarily a player who impacts the stat sheet as much as his teammates do, but he is still a valuable piece of this organization.
Steve Kerr discussed this in a pregame conversation shared by the Warriors on NBCS, saying, “I think Draymond is the best all-around defender in the league.”

While there were concerns about Green earlier in the year, those have seemingly been quelled.
Kerr is excited to have him back on the court, and he genuinely believes that Green is a special player on defense.
He might not have a ton of assists or points every game, but having an elite defender on the court can be the difference between a good and a great team.
For much of Steph Curry’s time with the Warriors, they have been a great team.
As they work to recapture the magic they found when they were in the middle of their dynastic run, having Green back should help them get back into this rhythm heading into the All-Star break.
