If history has taught us a lesson, it is that we can never count the Golden State Warriors out.
As long as they have a pulse and Stephen Curry, this team can always make some noise in a seven-game series.
That’s why Steve Kerr’s confidence remains unwavering ahead of their Play-In Tournament matchup with the Sacramento Kings.
Following their win over the Utah Jazz, the Warriors coach talked about how he still feels this team can do something special in the playoffs (Via Warriors on NBC Sports).
“I think we still have a chance to do something special.”

The Warriors closed out the season on a high note, and it became evident that they were getting ready for whoever they had to face in the Play-In, as they gave their starters some rest in the final two games.
This is the same team that beat the Kings in last year’s playoffs, so there are obviously plenty of storylines to follow in this matchup.
Still, the Kings are undermanned right now, with Kevin Huerter and Malik Monk on the shelf.
If they manage to beat them, they’ll have to go against either the New Orleans Pelicans or Los Angeles Lakers, and that obviously won’t be easy either.
Then, even if they win, they have a date with the red-hot Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round.
On paper, they don’t seem to stand much of a chance to go far in the playoffs.
But it’s the dynasty we’re talking about, and any team featuring a top-10 player in NBA history will always have a chance.
