The Golden State Warriors are all set to face off against the Dallas Mavericks in their next game of the season following a bounce-back Monday night win over the San Antonio Spurs.

Stephen Curry was sidelined due to the ankle injury in that contest.

But the Warriors shrugged off Curry’s absence and registered a 112-102 win over the Spurs.

Although the Warriors are now 34-30 for the season, they remain the 10th seed in the Western Conference.

Even though the organization is missing its best player during a crucial stretch of the season, head coach Steve Kerr is confident in his team’s ability to make an impact during the playoffs.

Kerr believes the Warriors can make a deep playoff run if Curry returns to the roster and the team remains relatively healthy in the final stretch of the season, per 95.7 The Game via NBACentral.

“I feel really strongly that our team is primed if we can really stay healthy down the stretch, get Steph back.” Kerr said.

The Warriors are one of the most successful teams of this generation, winning four NBA Championships since 2015.

However, the franchise’s core of Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green is not getting any younger.

After a second-round exit in the 2023 playoffs, the Warriors are seemingly heading toward another disappointing postseason run this time around.

The Warriors have 18 more games to turn things around as they continue to fight for a Play-In Tournament spot in the West.

The most important thing for the Warriors is to get Curry back on the roster before the playoffs start.

Otherwise, there is a very slim chance that the organization can perform at the level that Kerr expects them to in the postseason.
