The Golden State Warriors welcomed Jonathan Kuminga back on Sunday night, as the impressive young player returned from a knee injury for the team’s 118-110 win over the Utah Jazz.
Since Kuminga had been out for several games, head coach Steve Kerr decided to have him come off the bench.
But will Kuminga continue to be part of the team’s second unit moving forward?
Kerr told NBC Sports that’s very likely, indicating that he wants to continue starting Trayce Jackson-Davis moving forward.
He also made it clear that the plans could change and the rotation is very fluid at this point.

Kuminga did a lot for Golden State in Sunday’s game, scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds during his 27 minutes.
Those numbers are actually better than what he was producing in the few games before his injury at the end of March.
Some people may think that means Kuminga has earned a spot in the starting five, but Kerr isn’t committing to that just yet.
All season long, he has been juggling multiple talented stars on the roster, including a few up-and-coming players like Kuminga, Jackson-Davis, and Brandin Podziemski.
Now just days away from the Play-In Tournament, he is attempting to figure out which rotation works best.
The Warriors were without Steph Curry on Sunday, as he was taking the night off to rest.
When he comes back in a few days, Kerr will see how the team works and what adjustments are needed.
Kuminga as a bench player would help the team in many ways, but he could also assist them a lot as a starter.
Kerr will have to weigh his options and decide what is best for the team.
