To say that Grayson Allen isn’t an NBA fan favorite could be a bit of an understatement.
Dating back to his days at Duke, Allen drew a bad reputation for his constant involvement in dirty plays.
Even so, all teams need an enforcer, especially if he also happens to be a solid three-point shooter.
That’s why the Phoenix Suns just signed him to a very lucrative, four-year contract extension, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

His four-year extension, which includes a player option, will get him a total of $70 million.
This way, he avoids unrestricted free agency, and it seems like an easy call after he averaged 13.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 3 assists per game for Frank Vogel’s team.
This is Allen’s fourth stop in six years in the league, and he’s finally found a home.
The 28-year-old is shooting a league-best 46.1% from beyond the arc.
The Suns could be in some big financial trouble, so they were pretty hard-pressed to extend him, as they would’ve only been able to replace him with minimum contracts in free agency.
