The Phoenix Suns were marketed as the best team in the Western Conference ahead of the 2023-24 NBA season.
To be honest, Bradley Beal’s addition to the roster made the Suns look like a terrific team, at least on paper.
After all, a roster featuring Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal sounds unstoppable.
Unfortunately, the star trio of the Suns is yet to play even a single game together this season.
The trio was expected to make their debut in their upcoming game against the Golden State Warriors.
However, as per an update by NBA analyst Kendra Andrews on her official Twitter handle, Durant will be sidelined due to an ankle sprain.
Kevin Durant (left ankle sprain) will not play tonight against the Warriors.

Durant has been the primary superstar for the Suns so far in the 2023-24 NBA season.
Considering Durant is 35 years old, he has managed to take good care of his fitness this season.
Durant has averaged 31.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 5.7 assists per game for the Suns in the 2023-24 season while shooting more than 50% from the field and the three-point line.
Thanks to Durant’s numbers, the Suns are still 12-10 for the season, as they hold the ninth seed in the Western Conference.
While Durant will be on the sidelines for the Suns’ much-anticipated matchup against the Warriors, the organization will finally get to see Beal in action after a month’s absence.
Beal last played for the Suns on November 12, 2023, but has been sidelined ever since due to a back injury.
Can Beal and Booker lead the team to a much-needed win amidst Durant’s absence?
