Over the past two seasons, it seems as though no team in the NBA has been more active on the trade market than the Phoenix Suns, as the team has been determined to put together a championship squad after getting a taste of what it is like to be back in the NBA Finals.
Last year, the Suns pulled out all the stops by bringing in superstar forward Kevin Durant in a blockbuster trade with the Brooklyn Nets, which no one saw coming.
The team wasn’t done there as they went after veteran scorer Bradley Beal during the NBA offseason and were willing to give up veteran point guard Chris Paul in the process.
Along with parting ways with Paul to get Beal, the Suns also sent Deandre Ayton to the Portland Trail Blazers as part of the massive three-team deal that resulted in Damian Lillard landing with the Milwaukee Bucks to join forces with Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Now it appears that the Suns could be wheeling and dealing once again ahead of the NBA trade deadline on February 8, with their sights set on bringing in Miles Bridges in a deal with the Charlotte Hornets, according to PHNX Suns via NBACentral.

Although Bridges comes with his fair share of baggage off the court, he does bring a defensive presence on the court, which is probably something that defensive-minded head coach Frank Vogel is pushing for in order to make a deep run in the NBA playoffs.
Only time will tell if the Suns can get this deal done for Bridges and whether he turns out to be the missing piece to the championship puzzle in Phoenix.
