One of the biggest keys to success for the Houston Texans during the 2023 NFL season was rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud staying healthy and playing at an elite level throughout his first year in the league. It resulted in the AFC South title and an upset victory against the Cleveland Browns in the first round of the NFL playoffs.
More often than not, one of the main reasons a quarterback can become a star on the professional level and help his team win games on a weekly basis is having a solid offensive line in front of him, with the left tackle position being crucial to his success on the field.
Fortunately for the Texans, left tackle Laremy Tunsil is one of the best in the league at his position and an important piece to the puzzle for Houston as it tries to become a legitimate title contender in the AFC, with Stroud leading the charge under center.
With four Pro Bowl selections in the past five seasons for Tunsil, the Texans will want him healthy and ready to go for the upcoming 2024 campaign.
They recently got good news on his status after he had a cleanup procedure done on his knee, according to Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston.

After being the surprise team in the NFL last season and having what could be a superstar quarterback on the rise, the Texans have a bright future ahead, especially if Tunsil is healthy and ready to protect the face of the franchise.
With the Texans proving to be the real deal in 2023, it will be interesting to see whether this talented young team can keep it going in 2024, as no opponent will take them lightly moving forward.
