The Houston Texans got off to a good start this offseason when they acquired running back Joe Mixon and pass rusher Danielle Hunter, who have five Pro Bowl selections between them.
Combined with a young, up-and-coming team that won the AFC South title and got to the Divisional round of the playoffs last season, it gave the Texans and their fans lots of hope and excitement for the immediate future.
But that hope and excitement got magnified on Wednesday when the team landed star wide receiver Stefon Diggs, who has made the Pro Bowl in each of the last four years, from the Buffalo Bills.
It has made Houston the first NFL team to ever add players in the same offseason who had at least 100 catches, 1,000 rushing yards, and 10 sacks the previous year, per B/R Gridiron.

Diggs left Buffalo amidst persistent rumors that he was unhappy with the organization and quarterback Josh Allen.
Now, he will be playing on a team that is starting to look like it has an embarrassment of riches.
He will be lining up alongside wideouts Nico Collins and Tank Dell, both of whom emerged as true studs in 2023.
Diggs will be catching passes from quarterback C.J. Stroud, who became one of the league’s best at his position last season as a rookie and threw for 4,108 yards.
Meanwhile, Mixon will take some pressure off Diggs, Collins, and Dell, while Hunter will help improve Houston’s defense.
