The Cincinnati Bengals have quickly become one of the best teams in the NFL, with quarterback Joe Burrow evolving into a superstar under center for the franchise.

With Burrow expected to be the quarterback for the Bengals for the foreseeable future, Cincinnati drafting a quarterback in the upcoming 2023 NFL Draft seems unwise and a route the team wouldn’t take, but maybe they’re considering it.

There are more areas of need for the Bengals, but the team will soon make Burrow a wealthy man with a new contract, and a rookie deal to add to the quarterback room would help.

According to Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated, the Bengals will meet with quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson out of UCLA.

The Bengals are hosting UCLA QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson a 30 visit today/tomorrow, per sources. With a new contract coming for Joe Burrow, hitting on a Day 3 QB to save on depth at the position would be big.

Also, Clemson DE Myles Murphy will be in Cincinnati tomorrow.

Currently, the Bengals have needs on both sides of the football as they prepare for draft day on April 27.

One of those areas of need for Cincinnati is at the tight end position, which this draft is loaded with, making that a logical position to target at some point in the draft.

Another area of need is on the defensive side of the football, namely the cornerback and safety positions.

It’ll be interesting to see what the Bengals do in the draft and what the team prioritizes as they hope to improve their roster on both sides of the football and make another deep run in the NFL playoffs for many years to come.

The Bengals are in a championship window competing with the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills and will need all the firepower they can get moving forward.
