The Chicago Bulls picked up things where they left them last season.
Once again, they struggled to live up to their potential, dropping their season opener to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The visitors beat them by 20 points, outscoring them by 14 points in the second half.
That’s why the players want to make sure to stop this snowball before it gets any bigger.
Bulls beat writer Julia Poe reported that the players were already holding a meeting before coach Billy Donovan entered the locker room.
Billy Donovan says when he walked into the Bulls locker room tonight, players were already in heated conversations.
He asked if they wanted him to leave to handle conflict. Players said yes, so he did.
Donovan emphasized that embracing conflict is key for this year’s roster.

Apparently, Donovan asked the players if they wanted him to leave so they could work on their conflict, to which they said yes.
The report also states that it wasn’t a heated confrontation, but some players didn’t think they played with enough heart to get the job done.
Zach LaVine couldn’t get his shot to fall in the first half and struggled with foul trouble.
DeMar DeRozan led the team with 20 points, five rebounds, and a couple of assists, all while Torrey Craig led the bench with 11 points.
Truth be told, it doesn’t seem like this Bulls team is good enough to compete.
Without a clear superstar, their chances of competing at the highest level are pretty close to zero, yet they’re not bad enough to get a lottery pick, either.
Being stuck in the middle is the worst thing that could happen to an NBA team, and while it’s still early in the season, they shouldn’t wait long to break this roster up.
