Many people have predicted that the Eastern Conference Finals this year may feature the Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks.

If that’s the case and the Bucks play as poorly as they did on Thursday then it could be a very short series.

The Celtics destroyed the Bucks, bringing them down 140-99 in a major blowout loss on Thursday night.

By doing so, Boston became just the fourth NBA team to win against the team with the league’s best record by 40+ points.

The entire game was a disaster for the Bucks.

Giannis Antetokounmpo was able to produce 24 points and 7 rebounds while Khris Middleton was good for 13 and Bobby Portis had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Aside from them, no one else on the team was doing much to help.

The Celtics looked like the dominant and ultra-intelligent crew that they’ve been all season long.

Jayson Tatum scored 40 points while Jaylen Brown scored 30 to lead the way.

Fans of the Celtics were very happy with what they saw from their team but Boston is still the second team in the East.

The Bucks sit atop the Eastern Conference standings with a 55-22 record while the Celtics hold at 53-24 right below them.

There are still many people who believe that the ECF might include these two teams, who have been battling for supremacy in their conference all year.

Many analysts say that teams don’t take games in late March as seriously because they are so close to the playoffs.

Perhaps that is the reason the Bucks were taken down so brutally.

There is no doubt it’ll serve as a wake-up call to Antetokounmpo and the rest of his squad because they won’t be able to defeat the Celtics if they play like this again.
