The New York Jets headed into the NFL offseason determined to improve the quarterback position, with former first-round pick Zach Wilson not being the player the team thought he was when they drafted him.
As a result of the need for a change at quarterback, the Jets went after superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers in a blockbuster trade with the Green Bay Packers.
Rodgers was intrigued with the idea of playing for the Jets, and the deal ultimately got done, and the team didn’t stop adding players from the Packers.
New York wanted Rodgers to feel comfortable and confident in his new surroundings and brought in a few familiar faces, with the team bringing in Randall Cobb and Allen Lazard, along with many others from Green Bay.
On Monday, defensive back Adrian Amos became another former Packers player to join the Jets, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Other notable former Packers players to head to New York are Tim Boyle, Malik Taylor, Billy Turner, and Adam Pankey, which shows the impact that Rodgers has had on the Jets so far.
The real question now is whether the Jets can live up to expectations with Rodgers in the fold and all these former Packers joining him in New York.
The pressure will be on right out of the gate for the Jets, with many believing the team is a legitimate Super Bowl title contender, even with all the competition in the AFC East division.
It remains to be seen whether this team can live up to expectations and if Rodgers has enough left to make this team a force to be reckoned with offensively.
