Aaron Rodgers had been with the Green Bay Packers since 2005, serving as their starting quarterback since 2008.
Rodgers bridged the post-Brett Favre era and kept the franchise competitive for the following 15 years, cementing himself as a future first-ballot Hall of Famer.
So, now that he’s officially gone and traded to the New York Jets, it was only right the team gave him a proper farewell, so they shared an emotional two-minute clip on Twitter highlighting some of his best moments with the organization.
Gratitude.

Rodgers and the Packers didn’t always see eye to eye.
The past three years or so were complicated, and it’s not a secret that he had drifted away from the top-notch executives, mainly GM Brian Gutekunst.
But even though things weren’t always amicable, and one could argue that both parties could’ve and should’ve done some things differently, there should be nothing but gratitude, love, and respect from Packers fans for Rodgers, and vice versa.
Rodgers gave the Packers their most recent Super Bowl victory, and it’s crazy to think that they never made it back to the big game after that.
He’s one of the greatest quarterbacks in the history of the game, with some even claiming that he’s the best thrower to ever lace them up.
Now, it’ll be up to Jordan Love to carry on this long-standing tradition of elite quarterback play at Lambeau Field.
And while some fans believe they should temper their expectations about the former first-rounder, no one seemed to think Rodgers would go on to become such a legendary player when he took the reins of the team either.
