The Philadelphia Phillies are playing incredible baseball on the road over the last month.

Usually, when a team gets on a winning streak a portion of those games come at home.

But that has not been the case for the Phillies who are having more success on the road of late.

The Phillies have won 11 straight road games, and are chasing franchise history.

According to Matt Gelb, the longest road winning streak in franchise history is 13, which was accomplished in 1976.

Longest Road Winning Streaks in Phillies History

13 — April 17 – June 2, 1976
12 — Sept. 15, 1887 – April 25, 1888

The Phillies have a chance to tie or surpass that streak before the All-Star break.

With four games left until the break the Phillies will be on the road for all of them.

It is impressive to see some of the teams they are beating on the streak.

Currently, they have taken the first two games from the best team in the AL, the Tampa Bay Rays.

The Rays had only lost one home series all year until the Phillies won this series on Wednesday night.

This road winning streak has helped the Phillies get back on track.

While catching the Atlanta Braves may be out of the question, they still are in Wild Card position.

The Phillies have seen their record improve to seven games over .500 at 46-39.

They are currently in the third Wild Card spot which is the same spot they entered the playoffs in last year.

All you need to do is get into the postseason and you have a chance to make a run.

With the way the Phillies have played on the road of late, they are putting themselves in position to do that.
