The New Orleans Saints are heading into a new era of football in the Big Easy as the team has drastically changed at the quarterback position, with veteran Derek Carr signing with the team earlier in this NFL offseason.
With Carr now in the fold, the Saints hope to build a playoff team or potential Super Bowl title contender in the next couple of years while putting talent around their new star quarterback.
Veteran Jameis Winston will take a backseat to Carr in New Orleans, followed by Taysom Hill, who will likely get some snaps if the team needs him to, and rookie Jake Haener, who the team drafted in the fourth round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
Although the quarterback position in New Orleans is pretty much set at this point, the team is still doing its due diligence and filling up the roster with bodies to compete, like what they have recently done with XFL quarterback Harrison Frost, according to Sean Fazende of Fox 8 New Orleans.

At this point in the NFL offseason, all 32 teams around the league are compiling a list of players to prepare for training camp and to push veteran players that have already secured or at least have the edge to secure a roster spot.
Frost will have his work cut out for him to make an impression in New Orleans, with three proven quarterbacks already on the roster in Carr, Winston, Hill, and a rookie the team may be high on.
Obviously, with as physical as the game of football is, injuries happen and tend to happen a lot, even in training camp, which means players like Frost have to be ready to fill the void if need be.
