The Pittsburgh Steelers will host one of the most promising young defensive players in the upcoming NFL Draft today.
According to a report by Alex Kozora, Wisconsin DL standout Keeanu Benton is already at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex for a Top-10 pre-draft visit.

It’s not the first time that the Steelers have been tied with Benton, as they hosted him multiple times during the Senior Bowl and met with him again during the NFL Scouting Combine at Indianapolis.
This doesn’t come as a surprise, either, as the Badgers run a pretty similar defense to the Steelers, so he could be a nice plug-and-play pickup for a team always looking to be even more dominant at the defensive side of the field.
Benton’s raw power and strength, as well as his speed and athleticism, make him an enticing prospect, even though he only managed to record 9 sacks in his career with the Badgers.
He’s not exactly the biggest prospect, but what he lacks in size, he makes up with an elite effort and impressive work ethic, two of the main reasons why he was able to establish himself as a force during his days in Madison.
He was also excellent at stopping the run and figures to be an elite nose tackle at the next level, given enough time to develop and play to his strengths.
His performance at the combine was also quite impressive, and Steelers beat writers believe the team will either pick him or Gervon Dexter in the upcoming festivities.
