The Boston Celtics are walking on the clouds right now.
They sit on a comfortable 3-0 lead in the NBA Finals, and they’ll now look to close things out on the road in Game 4.
Joe Mazzulla’s squad made a notable team effort to get to this point.
Nonetheless, one guy has stood tall among all of them.
That’s why it’s not a surprise to see that Jaylen Brown has now become the overwhelming betting favorite to win NBA Finals MVP this season.
As shown by ESPN BET on Twitter, his odds have shifted from +140 before Game 3 all the way to -350 after the game.

Brown is averaging 24.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, 5.7 assists, 2.0 steals, 1.3 blocks, and 1.7 three-pointers per game on 55% from the floor.
He’s been the Celtics’ most consistent player, and is fresh off winning the Eastern Conference Finals MVP trophy as well.
Notably, this championship run isn’t just a reflection of this team; it’s also a redemption for Brown.
He was often the odd man out when talking about the Celtics, and his name was thrown around in countless trade rumors, with analysts and fans claiming that they should build around Jayson Tatum instead.
He and the Celtics also drew mockery and criticism when they made him the highest-paid player in NBA history in the offseason, but it didn’t take long before he paid them back and proved it was the right decision all along.
It hasn’t always been easy or pretty, but Jaylen Brown has earned his flowers and his bragging rights.
