One could make a case for the Oklahoma City Thunder having the brightest future among all teams in the league right now.
Besides a never-ending stack of first-round and second-round picks, they have Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Josh Giddey, and Chet Holmgren, among many other young talents.
That includes G Jalen Williams, who definitely made the most of the offseason to work on his body.
The Santa Clara product became viral after sharing some pics of how swollen and big he got during the offseason.
That’s why it wasn’t surprising to see that he was ‘randomly’ drug-tested twice after one of his pictures, as he told OKC Thunder insider Andrew Schlecht (via ClutchPoints).

Needless to say, both tests came back negative, which is why he wasn’t sanctioned or fined by any means.
That’s all a product of hard work, discipline, and good eating habits, and rival players will now think twice before trying and contesting him when he drives to the lane.
The Thunder flirted with playoff contention and it seemed like they were poised to make the Play-in Tournament at the very least, but Shai’s injury derailed their promising campaign.
Now, Mike Daigneault’s team is expected to be even better, not only because of Holgrem’s presence but also because of another offseason of player development and improvement by their young stars.
Don’t sleep on this team, as it might not be long before they’re back into the playoffs, and maybe they can do what Russell Westbrook, Kevin Durant, and James Harden weren’t able to achieve.
