The Minnesota Timberwolves’ season might be over, but the team should be very good for years to come.

Not only are they stacked and should be able to keep building around their stars, but they also seem to genuinely like and care for each other.

That was on full display after their win in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals.

According to a report by The Athletic (via NBACentral), Anthony Edwards and the rest of the Timberwolves players chose not to make an appearance on TNT’s “Inside The NBA” postgame show out of solidarity with Karl-Anthony Towns and Rudy Gobert.

Apparently, they took offense at Draymond Green’s over-the-top criticism of them, so they chose to boycott it.

That’s fair.

Green was brought in as an analyst, but he’s drawn plenty of criticism and hate on social media for his comments on the show.

Granted, Towns and Gobert deserved fair criticism for their subpar performances when their team needed them the most, but there’s a fine line between stating facts and talking hoops and flat-out hating.

Considering how things have fared and how poorly his commentary was met on social media, perhaps the TNT crew and decision-makers will think twice before bringing him back at some point in the future.
