The Tennessee Titans revamped themselves on and off the field this offseason as they brought in new head coach Brian Callahan and several new players on both sides of the ball.

Callahan’s hire signaled that the Titans will be moving away from their run-heavy approach to a more pass-friendly one that fits the current mold of NFL offenses.

Tennesse signed Calvin Ridley in free agency to be their new No. 1 receiver, though he’ll have help in the form of DeAndre Hopkins and Treylon Burks.

However, that trio’s availability is already off to a shaky start after Hopkins suffered a knee injury at training camp that is expected to sideline him for 4-6 weeks.

Without Hopkins available, Burks will have more of an opportunity to prove himself after a few rough years in the league.

When discussing Hopkins’ injury, Burks revealed he simply remains focused on helping the Titans during the 2024 season, via Paul Kuharsky.

“I just say it’s God man,” Burks said. “He don’t make mistakes, I hate it for ‘Hop.’ We’ve talked, but I’ve got to go out there and do what I gotta do and help the team in any way that I can.”

Burks was a first-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft but has failed to live up to that pedigree due to his own injuries and inconsistencies. He has just 49 receptions and one touchdown, playing 22 of a possible 34 games in his first two seasons.

However, now is the time for Burks to establish himself in Callahan’s system, which should provide him plenty of opportunities.
