The New York Knicks were one of the most electric teams to watch during the 2023-24 NBA season as they played a tough, physical style that was reminiscent of their 1990s identity.

Under head coach Tom Thibodeau, the Knicks have become well-known for being a team that prides itself on outworking and outhustling other teams.

Although New York came up short during the 2024 NBA Playoffs, that can be largely attributed to injuries as they were missing several key rotation players.

However, the Knicks ensured they wouldn’t be lacking any depth during the 2024-25 NBA season as they traded for Mikal Bridges and re-signed O.G. Anunoby.

Those two wings paired next to players like Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart has New York looking like arguably the best team on paper.

In an appearance on Brunson and Hart’s podcast, Tom Brady admitted that he buys the Knicks as a potential NBA Finals contender via the Roommates Show.

“I have a feeling you’re going to get there,” Brady said.

Brady knows a thing or two after winning seven Super Bowl titles during his NFL career and it seems he senses future success for Brunson, Hart and the rest of New York.

The Knicks are built to win now and arguably will have their best shot to win next season as the league is wide open for the taking.

The Boston Celtics will walk into the new season as the presumptive favorites, though New York shouldn’t be considered that far behind them.

It’s shaping up to be another exciting year and it’ll be fun to see just how far the Knicks can go.
