The New York Jets picked up a win in their final preseason tune up as they beat the New York Giants 10-6.

The Jets’ win is some solid momentum heading into a 2024 NFL season where they hope to redeem themselves after last year’s debacle.

The Jets came into last season as a presumptive title contender because of Aaron Rodgers’ arrival, though he never got a chance to truly lead the team on the field as he suffered a torn Achilles in his first offensive series for the team.

However, by all accounts, Rodgers is fully healthy and has looked good during training camp practices.

With a healthy Rodgers, an improved offense and a strong defensive unit, there’s a world where the Jets are competing come the 2025 NFL Playoffs.

Tom Brady squared off against Rodgers plenty of times during his playing days and believes him being back on the field will equate to a fun year for Jets fans via The Roommates Show.

“It’s gonna be an exciting year for the Jets fans,” Brady said.

Brady explains that Rodgers spending almost all of last season hurt should have given him more perspective and motivation to go out and prove any doubters wrong during the 2024 season.

A future Hall of Famer in his own right, Rodgers has the potential to lead a starved Jets team back to the postseason assuming he’s able to stay upright.

While there might be a bit of an adjustment period for Rodgers in his first game back, it’s hard to doubt him and his pedigree.
