Apparently, Hart is always chewing on some candy, eating popcorn, or whatnot, even when the rest of the team is trying to get locked in and ready to play.
Coach Thibs acknowledged that he knew Hart would always be ready to play, but he still had a candy problem.
Thibs also jokingly claimed that he hoped to get on him because of his body fat, yet he continues to pass the body fat test every single week.
Well, perhaps Hart just has a privileged metabolism, and even though he likes his candy, he clearly works out pretty hard to burn all those non-nutrients.
It’s nice to see that the Knicks chose chemistry over big names, and it would be very heartwarming to watch Hart, Brunson, and Donte DiVincenzo win an NBA championship just like they won in college.
