The New York Knicks had their fans’ hopes up in the playoffs.
They looked poised to make a deep postseason run, but eventually, injuries got the best of them.
That’s a usual thing with Tom Thibodeau, who has a bit of a reputation for running his players into the ground.
Nonetheless, outside of OG Anunoby’s hamstring injury, all the ailments Knicks players went through were accidental and not on the coach.
If anything, he actually gave other players a bit of a chance to prove their worth on the court, which is not something he’s known for.
With that in mind, Josh Hart and Jalen Brunson are getting ready to roast him and take him out of his comfort zone, hosting him for their podcast (via Legion Hoops).

Hart and Brunson, who were college teammates at Villanova, have found quite the success in the podcast scene as well, sharing stories and their insight on the perks and demands of being a New York Knick.
Notably, both of them embody what it’s like to play for Thibs.
They’ll put their bodies on the line on every single possession and will play as many minutes as it takes to get the job done; no excuses.
The Knicks tried to dismiss the narrative about them being hurt and exhausted late in the season.
Still, there was only so much they could do after missing three starters and a key reserve as well.
Now, we’ll get to hear coach Thibs’ thoughts on what went wrong.
