Everyone is wondering who the next LeBron James will be.
As the four-time champion nears retirement, NBA fans are curious to see who will be the next face of the league and the next star to take on his intense, motivated persona.
Tony Parker has a candidate: Victor Wembanyama.
Speaking to Yahoo Sports, per Legion Hoops, Parker said that the Spurs star is like James.
“He’s ready… He’s not bothered by the pressure or the expectations, he’s a little like LeBron [James],” Parker said.

The expectations and pressure around Wembanyama were immense when he joined the league last summer.
People hadn’t been that excited about a number one draft pick since James over two decades ago.
Wembanyama’s start was a little shakier than James but he was soon looking completely comfortable on the court.
By the time the season came to an end, Wembanyama had greatly improved his game on both ends of the court.
Not only is he one of the best defensive players in the league, but his offense has gotten much better too.
Wembanyama has worked through all the pressure and the expectations that once weighed on him.
Now he is ready for the next phase of his career, one that might lead to a Defensive Player of the Year award along with MVP and perhaps a championship.
Parker said Wembanyama isn’t bothered by all the noise around him and is solely focused on playing to the best of his abilities.
He had an amazing rookie season and now he’s ready for more.
