The Baltimore Orioles have been playing some of their best baseball since 2016 as of late.
That was the last time the Orioles reached the postseason.
Since that year, they have finished over .500 just once.
However, they have performed quite well this season.
Much of that has to do with the strong start of closer Felix Bautista, who recently earned Reliever of the Month honors for April in the American League.
On Thursday, Bautista stopped by MLB Network to discuss his hot start to the 2023 season and what has been working for him.

Bautista said he was very pleased with the way he has progressed recently and is happy to have received an award from the league for the first time this season.
He also commented on his hard work and efforts to improve, saying that it was good to see that hard work finally pay off.
An interesting fact is that two years ago, Bautista was pitching in Single-A.
However, in just two years, he has already become one of the elite arms in all of baseball.
Bautista says that it’s been fun for him to evolve as a pitcher and make certain adjustments to become the best pitcher he can possibly be, reiterating how it feels for him to see all of his hard work and adjustments finally pay off at the big-league level.
He also says that remaining consistent in his work has helped him continue to grow as a pitcher and stay on the MLB roster.
