Will Trae Young and Zach LaVine play on the same team in the upcoming NBA season?
That seems unlikely right now but they enjoy hanging out and practicing with one another.
A new video shared by handlelife on Instagram, per ClutchPoints on X, shows Young and LaVine playing pickup ball at USC.
In the video, Young and LaVine repeatedly find each other on the court and seem to have good chemistry.
However, Hawks and Bulls fans shouldn’t hold their breath to see these two on the same squad anytime soon.

When the summer started, it felt like either Young or LaVine would be leaving their respective teams.
The Atlanta Hawks needed to make some changes after another middling season and all reports said the Chicago Bulls were looking to offload LaVine.
But in the end, the Hawks got rid of Dejounte Murray while Young remained and the Bulls didn’t part ways with LaVine.
It seems like both players will remain with their teams, at least for a few more months.
If they continue to have troubles, both Young and LaVine could be sent away before the trade deadline.
But there is also a good chance that they remain in Atlanta and Chicago for a long time.
Could there be a future where these two players are on the same team?
Anything is possible, but it doesn’t seem probable currently.
Therefore, fans of these two will have to settle for this video of them playing pickup ball.
