The start of the 2023-24 NBA regular season is still more than a month away, with every team in the league gearing up for the start of the next 82-game grind on October 24.
Although there are still several weeks between now and when the season kicks off in October, a few players are starting to ramp things up this summer in order to get ready for the beginning of the season.
One of those players is Atlanta Hawks superstar Trae Young, who may still be a little bitter for not getting asked to be on the Team USA roster for the FIBA World Cup, which is currently underway, but that hasn’t stopped him from getting back to work in the gym.
Young took to Twitter on Monday to show he’s back at the Hawks’ practice facility in preparation for what will be an important season for Atlanta.

Young will be one of many star players who will be under tremendous pressure during the 2023-24 campaign, as it may very well be a make-or-break season for the 24-year-old.
Over the past year or so, there have been a lot of rumors swirling around about Young’s status with the team and the possibility that he could be traded at some point in the near future.
Although the Hawks have denied having any interest in trading their face of the franchise, Young still remains a candidate to be moved if Atlanta struggles once again, with the dynamic duo of him and Dejounte Murray simply not working out.
