This has been a wild year for Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce.
On top of being the best tight end in the National Football League and winning his second consecutive Super Bowl — and the third of his career — he’s gotten unmatched media exposure around the league.
His relationship with pop superstar Taylor Swift has gotten him a massive following.
His podcast with his brother Jason has been a huge success, and his brand is growing exponentially.
That’s why it’s not much of a surprise to see a report from The Hollywood Reporter showing that he’s been cast to star in a comedy movie:
Kelce clearly loves the spotlight, and he’s not the kind of person who’ll just shy away from this kind of opportunity.
He’s setting himself up for a very long and successful career once his playing days are over, and being a part of his girlfriend’s show in a concert may have been the perfect audition and way to get the jitters out of the way.
Last season, some Chiefs fans criticized Kelce for seemingly focusing way too much on his life outside of the gridiron, as his production earlier in the season wasn’t as impressive as it used to be.
However, with the way he closed out the campaign, it became more than evident that he’s still got it.
And if he continues to play that way, the fans will continue to root for him and support him in all the endeavors he gets himself into.
