Dak Prescott is heading into a contract year with the Dallas Cowboys after a humbling blowout loss in the playoffs at home to the Green Bay Packers, and there is a ton of pressure this season to deliver in the postseason.
Cowboys legend Troy Aikman is on his side and shared a simple message in support of the Cowboys QB.
Ahead of his ninth year as the QB in Dallas, Prescott still has the support of the franchise’s most successful quarterback, with Aikman reportedly saying “I still believe in Dak Prescott.”

Prescott had a career year in 2023, throwing for 4,516 yards and 36 touchdowns with just nine interceptions and completing a career-high 69.5 percent of his passes.
He also had his most rushing yards since 2019 and further developed an incredible chemistry with No. 1 WR CeeDee Lamb, who put up 135 catches for 1,739 yards and 12 touchdowns.
There was a lot to like about Prescott this past season, but the playoff loss to the Packers was haunting and changed the entire narrative surrounding the 2023 season.
The Cowboys haven’t reached the NFC Championship game since 1995, and it’s starting to feel like if they once again fail to go at least that far in January, Dak could find himself playing elsewhere in 2025.
It’s nice to hear Aikman still endorses Dak, and he has every reason to.
Prescott is still one of the best in the league and just needs to have some signature playoff moments to completely shift the narrative surrounding this franchise over the past few decades.
