After being a mediocre football team in the NFL for quite some time in the post-Dan Marino era, the Miami Dolphins started to turn things around once they hired Mike McDaniel as their head coach and leader on the sideline.
Along with McDaniel leading the charge with a headset on the sideline, the Dolphins were able to get lucky in the NFL Draft by being able to land quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and also add superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill into the mix as a result of a blockbuster trade with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Things have been trending upward for the Dolphins every year with McDaniel in the fold in Miami, but it wasn’t always smooth sailing with the popular head coach, as he and Tagovailoa have had their differences.
However, the two have created a lasting bond during their time together and Tagovailoa believes that it was because of their ups and downs that they have grown so close via Up & Adams.
“I think we’ve gone through the ringer a little bit… and you grow more fond of the people that you go through things with,” Tagovailoa said.

Unfortunately for Miami, the 2023 NFL season came to an end quickly in the NFL playoffs, with the eventual Super Bowl champion Chiefs crushing them in the first round.
Despite the disappointing end to the 2023 campaign, Tagovailoa and company seem confident they can get back on track and be a legitimate title contender in the AFC during the upcoming season.
