Veteran left-hander Dallas Keuchel has been scratching and clawing in an attempt to regain his old form.
Last season, the former Cy Young Award winner was let go by the Chicago White Sox before brief stints with the Texas Rangers and Arizona Diamondbacks.
He was left unsigned after this past offseason.
However, Keuchel is now getting another chance, this time with the Minnesota Twins.
Keuchel went 2-7 last season and posted a 9.00 ERA in just 10 starts between the White Sox, D-Backs, and Rangers.
On Twitter, Jon Heyman of MLB Network provided the news of the Twins taking a chance on the former ace.

During his time with the Houston Astros, Keuchel was a two-time All-Star and a World Series champion.
He is also a five-time Gold Glover.
For his career, the veteran left-hander owns an ERA of 3.98 over 268 appearances, 257 of which were starts.
After the 2018 season, Keuchel departed Houston and joined the Atlanta Braves for a brief stint before later joining the White Sox.
The 35-year-old hasn’t quite been himself since the pandemic-shortened 2020 season.
That year, he posted an ERA of 1.99 over 11 starts.
Things began to spiral for the former Cy Young in 2021 when he posted a 5.28 ERA.
The Twins currently lead the AL Central despite their losing record.
Keuchel’s new contract is a minor league deal.
He’ll look to try and regain his old form with this new opportunity and potentially find himself a spot in the Twins rotation, which features Sonny Gray, Tyler Mahle, Joe Ryan, and Pablo Lopez.
