We don’t know if Tyler Herro will play for the Miami Heat again, but it’s becoming increasingly clear that he will thankfully be healthy when the new season begins.
Herro faced heartbreak at the start of the playoffs when he broke his hand in his team’s first postseason game against the Milwaukee Bucks.
At the time, the team said that he could come back for the very end of the playoffs but Herro never returned.
On Friday night, he posted a big update on his Twitter page.
“First time hoopin since I broke my hand.. good runs,” Herro said.
After several months and an intense rehabilitation process, Herro is back.

The loss of Herro hurt the Heat during the playoffs.
Herro was shooting 43.9% from the field in 2022-23 and was averaging 20.1 points a game.
After years of being one of the best sixth men in the league, Herro started in every single game of the season too.
Some fans claim the Heat could have won the Finals if they had the firepower that Herro brings.
Yet, Herro may have played his last game in a Heat jersey.
Since the team caught wind of Damian Lillard wanting to leave the Portland Trail Blazers for the Heat, the front office has been working hard to put together a deal.
And in numerous reports, Herro is at the center of that deal.
Many analysts believe that he wouldn’t end up in Portland but another destination as part of a three-team deal.
It’s unfortunate that Herro’s possibly last season with Miami ended with an injury.
But now that he’s getting healthy again, he can bring his special brand of energy, speed, and shooting to a different franchise.
