The start of the 2023-24 NBA season is less than two months away, with the Los Angeles Lakers and defending NBA champion Denver Nuggets set to kick things off on October 24, meaning players around the league will continue to work on their games to be ready for the 82-game grind.
One star player who seems to be in a limbo of sorts this summer is Tyler Herro, who has been mentioned frequently in trade scenarios involving the Miami Heat acquiring superstar guard Damian Lillard from the Portland Trail Blazers.
Even though a lot of players would sulk and complain about being in limbo during the NBA offseason, Herro seems determined to continue working on his game in order to be a better player next season and beyond.
The Heat sharpshooter was recently seen working out with Boston Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum, with both players being part of Pure Sweat Basketball, which is a basketball training company owned by trainer Drew Hanlen, who can be seen in the background via ClutchPoints.

The waiting game will continue for Herro, as the Blazers and Heat still haven’t been able to see eye-to-eye on a blockbuster trade, with the consensus being that a third and possibly fourth team would need to be involved to make this deal happen.
All signs point to Herro landing somewhere other than Portland, with the team already having the guard position covered and wanting to address other areas in return for Lillard, which makes perfect sense.
Only time will tell where Herro lands and if there’s even a deal made between the Blazers and Heat before next season.
