As the wide receiver market exploded this week with Justin Jefferson’s momentous $140 million extension, many eyes turned to Miami Dolphins superstar Tyreek Hill.

When asked by the media about his own contract situation, Hill said that is something he is leaving up to his agent, Drew Rosenhaus.

He’s “feeling good” being in Miami and part of a team that is loaded with talent and has realistic Super Bowl expectations for the first time in years.

As Cameron Wolfe reported, Hill emphatically declared that his goal is to spend the rest of his NFL playing days in Miami.

Tyreek Hill says his top priority is becoming a Dolphins player for life. He will let his agent @DrewJRosenhaus handle it, but hopes they do contract restructure that helps the team & invests in him for rest of his career.

But his response to Jefferson’s Earth-shattering deal may have sent a message to the Miami organization.

Hill tweeted, “JJettas that’s well deserved.”

His own contract has $72 million guaranteed, but that has not stopped the Dolphins standout from regularly addressing his desire to get a new deal.

Hill also expressed his interest in retiring after 10 NFL seasons, which would be at the end of the 2025 campaign.

When asked about his client’s status, Rosenhaus said he is in touch with Miami and has a “fluid line of communication with them.”

The agent explained that the team knows how Hill feels about remaining with the squad.

And as Hill noted that he’s leaving negotiations to his agent, Miami head coach Mike McDaniel struck a similar chord concerning the star receiver’s contract status.

McDaniel said he encountered a “very happy Tyreek Hill just today” and will make sure to concentrate on coaching and let the front office handle financial dealings with players.
